In a small paragraph in the Mid Ulster Mail dated the 22 January 1916 (
Figure 9.2), it stated that East Tyrone had promised to endow beds in the hospital at Pau in memory of two of its gallant sons, Viscount Northland and Private Morrow V.C.
We have pleasure in calling the special attention of our readers to the concert to be given in the Cookstown Courthouse on Thursday evening next, in aid of the U.V.F. Hospital at Pau. East Tyrone has promised to endow beds in the hospital in memory of two of its gallant sons, Viscount Northland and Private Morrow V.C., and as this concert is in aid of Cookstown's contribution to that endowment, we feel certain it will appeal to many friends, while the exceptionally good programme should in itself command a well filled house.
