21 Mar 2018 The Mid Ulster Mail published a poem by M.E.B. of Glasgow on 4th September 1915. The poem is exactly the same as the one thought to be have been written by Eleanor Jane Cander in 1923
8 Jan 2017 A Belfast Newsletter report describes the Court Circular, issued from Buckingham Palace, which confirms Mrs Morrow met the King on 29th November 1916.
8 Jan 2017 A Belfast Newsletter report describes the granting of permission by Dungannon Council for the Newmills Memorial on 9th November 1916.
28 Nov 2016 A report in the Belfast Newsletter describes the first round of memorial subscriptions and an appeal for further contributions.
14 Nov 2016 A report in the Belfast Newsletter records details of the award of the the medal of St George (3rd class) awarded by the Emperor of Russia and accompanying letter.
23 Oct 2016 A report in the Belfast Newsletter informs us that his father was from Clar, Donegal town, and that his father had spent some time in America.
19 Sept 2016 A report in the Belfast Newsletter indicates that a public meeting was held in Newmills on Monday 13th September 1915 and it was decided to create a committee to consider the best method of honouring to Private Robert Morrow V.C.
29 June 2016 A photo of Mrs Morrow has been uncovered.
26 June 2016 A report in the Belfast Newsletter indicates that his mother received the V.C. from the War Office on 22nd July 1915, in contradiction to later reports that his mother received his Victoria Cross from the King in London some months later.
